Built by advocates, for every user
We believe the web should work for everyone — not just those without disabilities. That belief shapes every audit, every training, and every line of remediation guidance we provide.
Accessibility is a foundation, not a feature.
Axiya was founded on a simple observation: too many organizations treat accessibility as a compliance checkbox — something to bolt on at the end of a project, or address only after legal pressure arrives.
We set out to change that. When embedded from day one, accessibility creates better products for everyone. Our work is led by IAAP-certified Web Accessibility Specialists (WAS) and validated by real users with disabilities — so findings reflect lived experience, not just automated checks. We partner with teams across government, financial services, healthcare, education, and e-commerce — helping them treat inclusion as a competitive advantage rather than an afterthought.
A focused, founder-led team
We're a newly launched, specialist practice — deliberately small, so senior people do the actual work. Here's what we bring to every engagement.
Audit & Evaluation
Manual, standards-based WCAG 2.2 evaluation backed by real assistive-technology testing — not automated scans alone.
Engineering & Remediation
Practical, code-level guidance and pull-request review, grounded in semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, and modern frameworks.
Training & Enablement
Role-based workshops that leave your team able to build accessibly by default, long after the engagement ends.
Standards & Compliance
Working knowledge of WCAG, Section 508, the ADA, the EAA, and EN 301 549 — translated into plain, actionable steps.
What we stand for
Inclusion Above All
We centre the voices of disabled users in everything we do — from user testing to how we structure our work.
Pragmatic Excellence
Standards matter. But so does implementation. We bridge the gap between WCAG theory and real-world engineering.
Transparent Partnership
No jargon, no complexity theatre. We communicate clearly with developers, designers, and executives alike.
Continuous Learning
Accessibility standards evolve. We track WCAG, ARIA, and APCA developments so our guidance stays current.
Standards we build to
Our audits are led by IAAP-certified Web Accessibility Specialists (WAS) and validated by real users with disabilities — built to the industry's most respected standards and the global bodies that maintain them.
