FAQ
Your questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about working with Axiya — from scope and standards to timelines, pricing, and ongoing support.
Yes — Axiya covers the full digital ecosystem. Our services include websites and web applications, native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform mobile apps (React Native, Flutter), PDFs and office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), kiosks and self-service terminals, video and multimedia content, and email templates. If users interact with it digitally, we can audit and remediate it.
Our specialists work across all major global accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (Levels A, AA, and AAA), Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and EN 301 549, AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act), and ISO 30071-1. We stay current with WCAG 3.0 developments and APCA contrast research as well.
Timelines depend on scope. A focused audit of a single application or key user journeys typically takes 5–10 business days from kickoff to final report delivery. Larger, multi-product engagements may take 3–6 weeks. We scope the engagement precisely after an initial discovery call and commit to a firm delivery date.
Every audit report includes: an executive summary for stakeholders; a prioritized issue register with WCAG success criterion, severity rating (critical/major/minor), affected components, screenshots, and step-by-step remediation guidance; a conformance summary table; and (if requested) a completed VPAT 2.5 / ACR. We also hold a report walkthrough call with your team to answer questions and clarify remediation priorities.
Absolutely. VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) and ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report) creation is one of our core services. We produce accurate, defensible VPATs using the latest VPAT 2.5 templates (WCAG Edition, Section 508 Edition, EU Edition, and the combined international template) — suitable for enterprise procurement teams and government agencies.
Yes. Our engineers work directly with React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Nuxt, Svelte, and other modern frameworks. We can review component libraries, provide accessible ARIA-pattern implementations, review pull requests, and integrate accessibility checks into your CI/CD pipeline using tools like axe-core and Playwright accessibility assertions.
Training is role-based and practical. We offer separate immersive workshops for developers (semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard patterns), designers (contrast, focus, cognitive load, inclusive patterns), content creators (alt text, headings, accessible documents), and QA teams (testing tools, screen-reader basics). Sessions are 2–4 hours each, delivered live via video call or on-site, and include hands-on exercises with your own product.
Yes. Many clients start with an audit and then move to an ongoing managed accessibility program: a dedicated accessibility advisor, periodic regression audits, priority Slack/Teams support with an agreed response SLA, PR-review credits, regular strategy check-ins, and proactive monitoring of regulatory changes that could affect your product. Think of us as an extension of your team, not a one-time vendor.
Axiya works across e-commerce, government and public sector, financial services and fintech, healthcare and health tech, education and ed-tech, media and publishing, and SaaS. Each industry has unique compliance requirements and user needs — we tailor our approach accordingly.
Pricing is scoped to your specific needs — the size and complexity of your product, the standards required, and the depth of engagement. We offer project-based pricing for audits and training, and monthly retainer pricing for ongoing managed programs. We provide a detailed proposal after a free initial discovery call, with no obligation — no hidden fees, no scope-creep surprises.
Yes — we hold ourselves to the same standard we set for our clients.
